Labs / Queryline

Ask in plain language.Get structured JSON back.

Queryline connects to your data sources — SQL, NoSQL, or a full data warehouse — plans the structured work behind each question, executes it, and returns schema-validated JSON your applications consume directly.

How it works

The structured work happens under the hood.

  1. 01

Understand. The prompt is parsed against the connected sources' schemas and semantics. Ambiguity comes back as a clarifying question, not a wrong answer.

  2. 02

Plan & execute. The question compiles to a query plan in the native dialect of whatever sits behind it — SQL, an aggregation pipeline, or a warehouse query — with permissions applied before execution.

  3. 03

Respond. Results return as schema-validated JSON with the generated plan attached — every answer reproducible, every access logged.

Why it exists

Because the answer is usually data, not a chart.

Most questions asked of a data estate turn into a ticket: someone writes SQL against one store, someone else writes an aggregation pipeline against another, and the result lands in a dashboard no application can call. Queryline collapses that into a single request — the question goes in as plain language, the structured work happens under the hood, and schema-validated JSON comes back.

Because every response carries the generated plan, answers are reproducible and every access is logged — trust doesn't depend on faith. And because the contract is JSON, it stays the same whether the data behind it sits in SQL, NoSQL, or the warehouse.

Where it’s useful

When the answer should be an API, not a dashboard.

EMBEDDED ANALYTICS

Data features inside your product

Your app asks Queryline in plain language and renders the JSON — no per-feature SQL, no BI iframe, no analytics team in the critical path.

INTERNAL OPS

Answers without a SQL queue

Revenue, SLA, inventory questions answered directly from governed sources — with the generated query attached, so trust doesn't depend on faith.

MULTI-STORE ESTATES

One contract over every backend

SQL here, NoSQL there, a warehouse behind it all — callers see one stable JSON contract while Queryline speaks each store's native dialect.
